Help with router and POTS modem

I have a SMC Router/Switch/Wireless AP that is connected to
an analog modem. Since I don't have broadband of any kind in my area,
this is my internet connection. It works great except for the
inconvenience of disconnecting. I currently have to surf to the
router with my browser, log in to the router then click the Hang-Up
button and the Are you Sure? button in order to disconnect the modem.
There has to be an easier way. Does anyone have a similar setup or
know of a shortcut to disconnect the modem with a desktop icon?
I have examined to source to the web page generated by the router
and this is the disconnect string sent to the modem:

/cgi-bin/dial?RC=@&A=H&M=1&T=14000

Does anyone know of an easy/quick way to send this string to a modem connected to a router?

Thanks,

Wayne

how about turning the modem off and on again?
or create a bookmark for the page you need, you should be able to set up the browser to remember your password
[edit] if it isn't you only telephone line, just set the idle time out to 4 or 5 minutes and just walk away when your done
it'll hang up automaticly
