Help With RIO500 under windows XP

Ok I have a rio 500 and im using the rio port audio manager software. It works alright, but not well. Is there a better solution ofr this playeR?

I found lots of useful info here when I got my daughter a 500 years ago. It wasn't supported under XP at that time and I've updated her to an S50 since.

Still got the old 500 but have to take it apart to try to tighten up the headphone plugin as one channel is intermittent.

I had one and it got crushed, but I got another. I love this player, it does everything I need. new players are way too expensive and offer nothing I need that the RIO doesnt have. thanks for the link
