help with resolution.. wierd w/ radeon

Hey... I'm going crazy trying to get my resolution over 800 x 600.. I got a AIW Radeon with a viewsonic 17ps. If I go over 800 x 600, I get scrolling desktop.. like, it's off the monitor.. I have never seen this before, and 800 x 600 is torture for me. I got the driver for the card installed, my 4 in 1 mobo (a7v) installed.. the gart agp driver.. why why why? I got the worst luck ever, this is my first machine too.. 🙁.. I got lot's of other probs with it too... jeez! Thanks for any input.
 
well i have a rage fury so i dont know if it's the same thing... it probably is.. you probably have the TV Out thing checked somewhere in the drivers... on mine it's in the "ATI Displays" tab (go to display properties -> settings -> advanced button, then you'll find the ati displays tab). make sure the TV thing isnt checked and everything should work fine.

again i have the rage fury so ive got older drivers they might've changed it... so yea 🙂
