HELP WITH REAR CASE FAN

I just purchased an ATX mid tower with optional 80mm case fans: 2 in the front, 1 in the back, and 1 on the side with an open window kit. Now my problem is the structure of the rear of the case. Instead of being flat and enabling easy setup of an 80mm fan, the structure is stepped. There are grills in a diamond shape and slots illustrating the markings of an 80mm fan, but it's way off and there are no holes to screw. To better explain...this is the similar case I got...

If you notice in the rear, there is a diamond shape grill in where an optional 80mm fan can be placed as stated. But if you notice, the rear is not flat, but in a step. So basically that diamond grill is on a step instead of being flat and with it, there are no holes to screw a fan into. What can I do? I'm in need of some sort of exhaust for the system. I have 2 80mm fans in the front blowing inside of the case and 1 80mm fan on the side blowing inside of the case as well for cooling of AGP, PCI slots. Is there any exhaust fan or exhaust system for a 5.25 bay? I was thinking about doing that if that will work since out of the 4 5.25 slots, I only use the very top one. Please help me and share your opinions on how I will enable an exhaust without have to drill another hole on top of the case. Thanks again.

Your exhaust needs to be at the rear of the case, so that the airflow is going from the front of the case to the back of the case.

It's hard to see in that picture, but maybe the fan is mounted at an angle? I don't understand what you mean by " the rear is not flat, but in a step". If you can't get the fan in there, get out the drill and the dremel, and make yourself a hole Just take your time, and find a template of some sort to make the fan hole. Good luck.
