I downloaded RC5 a few days ago and have sent in two blocks. I sent the first one in Thursday and one Friday. When I go to the http://stats.distributed.net/rc5-64/ page and search for my e-mail it doesn't find anything.

I know it said to wait for 24 hours after you flush a block, I did and it's till not there. Not sure what to do. I didn't change any of the setting in the client other than put my e-mail address in.

Thanks,

Tom

If you want to do RC5 instead of OGR make sure that you have the following lines in your DNETC.INI file:

[buffers]
allow-update-from-altbuffer=no
checkpoint-filename=chkpoint.rc5
frequent-threshold-checks=4

[misc]
project-priority=DES=0,CSC=0,RC5,OGR

Welcome to the TeAm !

If you want to run RC5-64 only then add or change this lines in your DNETC.INI file :

[misc]
project-priority=RC5,OGR=0,CSC=0,DES=0

If you want only OGR then :

[misc]
project-priority=OGR,RC5=0,CSC=0,DES=0

If you want both but prefer RC5 then :

[misc]
project-priority=RC5,OGR,CSC=0,DES=0

and if you want both but prefer OGR then :

[misc]
project-priority=OGR,RC5,CSC=0,DES=0

I think the last solution is the default setting of the cracker.

Wow, RC5 must not be as hard to do as OGR. It is going through it alot faster. Don't pay any attention to the system in sig right now, as I am waiting on a new MSI motherboard to replace my bad bios flash old one.

Cracking on a P2-333 right now..

On a PII-333 some OGR work units, can take 30 hours.. Some can take 1 hour.. they vary in size.. RC-5 packets are all pretty well the same size.
