help with ram timings

ok i am interested in tweaking my ram timing settings on my epox 8k7a but i'm kind of unclear on a few things,
what exactly does increasing the ddr voltage allow you to do, get more aggressive timings? and is there some sort of methodical way to go about finding the optimal settings? (if anyone knows of a giude or faq somewhere that would be greatly appreciated)

i just left the ram timings on normal and they seem to work best that way. as far as the ddr voltage...you need to increase it as you increase your fsb. you don't have to, it's just if you start experiecning instability or errors or whatever, increasing ram voltage can give more stability. At least that's what happened in my case.
