Help with Raid performance in XP

I have a raid (0) setup with WinXP. When I finished the install, I got a benchmark on Sandra of about 27000, not teally that impressive for a raid setup. I am now getting about 22000. What are some things I should look for? Does XP have a tweak or setting I should know about to gain some performance? Just wondering.

Sandra is EVIL!!! Don't trust the numbers. If you set the drives in RAID 0, you should notice a performance difference even though Sandra will say it's less.
