Help with prison architect

I bought prison architect on GOG or cheap, so I'm hoping there is a way to still get other peoples prisons to attempt escape mode? I was told to use steam workshop but can't access it since I didn't buy it there, alternatives?

Did they not send you a steam activation code with the purchase as a lot of times they do that?

If they removed the linking between the two services then you won't have access to it as you did not pay to access this ability as you bought it on a different website.

I suppose you can try using 3rd party sites that have maps to download if they are trusted.

I thought that Steam was crap because of phone home DRM malarky, and GOG was the end all be all way to get games? I don't think you personally denigrated Steam, but it has been said on these forums that Steam sucks compared to GOG. You should not have access to the Steam features if bought through another service, IMO.

That said, there is probably a way to hack the game directly to integrate other prisons as your own.
