I just finished assembling a nice Athlon system (Athlon 2200+, EPoX 8K5A2+, DDR366, Thermaltake Volcano 7+ etc.) with an Enermax EG365P-VE (FCA) 350W PSU (which allows for manual as well as Mainboard control of the fan speed) and when I went to turn it on all the lights on the drives lit up and and some of the fans started whirring (wasn't long enough to figure out which, but I have three case fans, two fans built into the PSU and the fan on the CPU) and then everything abruptly stopped. Further attempts to hit the power button were initially futile. I, however, figured out that I could recreate the starting and quickly dying effect by either unplugging the cord from the socket for a few seconds then replugging it in and hitting the power button or by hitting the power button and the power switch on the PSU at the exact same time, which actually gets the computer going for closer to two seconds. I'm assuming this a problem with the PSU. If anyone has any insight or possible solutions I would be grateful.
