Hi all,

I just bought the 14.99 upgrade to Win 8 on my new computer. I downloaded the file, and was hoping I could save it and burn it to a DVD for later use to do a reformat when needed.

However, it wanted to start installation immediately. Since I was not sure I really wanted to upgrade now, I stopped the process.

I have two questions basically.

1. Can I burn the download to DVD so I can use it later?

2. Also, I have 2 hard drives in raid 0. I purchased the computer in this format, so I did not set up the hard disks this way. If I reformat with Win 8, will I have the option to set up in raid 0 or a different array. I am not sure how to do this. Also if I reformat should I just use the conventional format? I am not sure what this is called.

Thanks a lot for any advice.

I've read that it can't (or at least doesn't happen automatically) on XP, but using Vista or Win 7 it will allow you to create a burnable ISO DVD image which you can burn with the built in Win 7 utility or you can use Imgburn (free).
