Having some issues here.
Trying to point a domain registered with cbeyond (and which was hosted on cbeyond) to squarespace. I edited the A record a few days ago to point to squarespace (65.39.205.54) and claimed domainname.com and www.domainname.com on squarespace. Now it's working fine for me and on some computers, but some of the people at the office are saying they are still getting the old site. I had them clear their browser cache and try again, but no go.
Could it just be taking forever to proagate? Should I add a CNAME record too?
If so, just to check, C and CNAME records are the same, yes? (Cbeyond setting only refer to a C record). Then there is host name and alias. Host name should be www.mydomain.com and mydomain.com, while alias should be www.squarespace.com, correct?
Why doesn't everyone just use cPanel? Argh.
