help with playstation adapter for pc

I recently bought one of those playstation adapters for pc; where you can use the playstation
control with you pc. Works fine for games that uses controls but keyboard games you can't.
I've use gravis Xperience to remap keys so they emulate keyboard strokes but of course
this only with gravis controls. Is there any third party software that will work with this adapter??
