Help with placement of temp sensors

My case has three temperature sensors which can be placed pretty much anywhere. The suggested placement is near the powersupply, near the cpu, and somewhere in the case. But details are missing. I am also concerned as to how I will make them stick to whereever I place them. They say use tape... but is it very practical to do that? by the way temp sensors are like wires encased in a translucent jacket. Any ideas will be very appreciated.

Well for a start it isn't urgent is it, what happens if you don't place the temp sensors....

Damn, they'll just sit there and your front pannel won't work right! Noooooooo!

Tape them down, it's emminently practical, the biggest worry being that the tape will leave the glue behind when you try to remove it, so use small bits of duct tape to do it. If you wanted you could always use cable ties.

It was urgent because I dont want to mess with Ocing with temp reads. With taping I thought... as the temps go up and down - the tape itself loses grip - especially with higher temps... dont u think, but thanks for the idea... cable tie seems like a good cheap soln.

To overclock you'll be relying on the sensors inside the components themselves rather than any case temp sensors.
