Hey guys I need some help overclocking my PII 400 mhz on my dell xps r400

I went into the bios setup (pretty sure, i just entered setup at startup by hitting delete) and I didn't see any option of changing anything that looked like overclocking, please help guys thanks

your dell BIOS does not have an option to change FSB settings. too bad. if you want, buy a new mobo and sell your dell one online.

Yer screwed. I have a Dell also and there isnt anything you can do except gut it out and use the part in another system.

DON'T buy a new Mobo I just bought a P3V4X to replace my dell mobo and after installing everyhing found that the on/off switch and reset switch wouldn't connect to my motherboard. You could cut them appart, but that would be a bit hard. the other option is to buy a new case. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, just don't want you to get screwed like I did. The thing that pissed me off was a dell technical service person told me that there wouldn't be a problem with the on/off switch! oh well I'm ranting now sorry.
