I'm so out of the loop and can't find the info I need.

1) Want to overclock either a 90nm 3000+ or 3200+ and try to hit 2.6Ghz.

But I need to know if I should be keeping my ram 1:1 with the fsb.

If so, would a 3200+ be better because of the higher multiplier and easier to hit 1:1.
3000 = 9x289
3200 = 10x260

I have Mushkin lvl1 3500 and I'm not sure how high it will go. Probably won't hit 260 though so I would need new memory. I was looking at the PQI turbo 3200 for $240. Not sure what else would work or what you guys recommend.

So buy cheaper 3000 with more expensive memory, or 3200 with less expensive memory.

On an A64 1:1 doesn't matter very much so I would reccomend the 3200+ and keeping the PC3500 or going with 1gb of Corsair Value Select.

Read the posts in the latter part of this thread for a good description of how timings and divisor don't matter as much with the A64s. Remember to keep it at 1T and you can lower the rest of the settings.
