I know this is not a new hardware problem. A friend of mine has an old P. Bell Computer. He would like to use it as a word processor. The machine will not boot into the operating system. I offered to take a look at the machine. The machine does a post check, but I cannot get into the bios, or boot the system from the floopy with a system disk. My goal was to reformat the Hard drive and reinstall his windows 95 and the word processing software. I did try to press F2 ,and other keyboard sequences without success.
How can I get the machine to boot from the floppy? Thanks for the help.
