I bought one from ebay for about 35 GBP (this keyboard has no pound symbol) and it came with the heatsink on top of it. Thing is, the heatsink wont actually come off at all, its like its superglued to the cpu. Its a compaq replacement part :s What do i do? Im not sending it back! These things go for a lot more than 35 pounds usually.
 
Never mind, some brute force and a kitchen knife did the job. Baffles my why compaq would superglue the heatsink to the cpu. The glue stuff was located around the side of the IHS.
