Help with PDF form

Ok, so I know that you can type into PDF forms and print it out but, what I am looking to do is to write on top of the PDF form and then print it out without the background of the actual PDF.

Kind of like writing the entire document in Word and printing it out. It wouldn't have the background picture or document.

Is this possible?
 
You could place the PDF into its own Photoshop layer, then do all your typing into a separate overlying layer. Then just hide or delete the PDF layer and print only the overlay.
