Help with PC Chips M825 bios

I have a PC Chips M825LU motherboard and a 160GB hard disk. The bios only recognises 133GB. Will a bios flash fix this? Or do I need a separate controler card?

As an aditional thought, if I do flash my bios and it recognises the full space of the hard disk, will I have to re-install my OS and everything else?

Well, check on www.pcchips.com.tw whether support for large drives has been added. Mind the board revision when downloading BIOSes, M825 has undergone several major changes that require separate BIOS releases.

You should also check whether the drive hasn't been jumpered to limit itself to 128 GBytes.
