Help with p180 case audio connector

I have a case (p180) audio connector that has a 10-1 pin audio connector.
The problem is my mobo (a8r-mvp) has a front panel audio connector and a system panel connector.

Front panel audio connector is the same 10-1 pin audio conenctor that the case has.
But if I connect this, I don't hear any system beeps.

Then I tried connecting the 7 individual pins from the 10-1 to the 4-pin speaker portion of the system panel connector, but the labels don't match up.

The 4 pins are +5v, ground, ground, speaker.

I have fpout-left, fpout-right, mic, mic-bias, ret-l ret-r.
This doesn't make sense because wshy do I need stereo front/back for beeps?
