HELP!! with overclocking

Got a couple of questions for you lot.

1. What cpu should I buy? AMD XP2500 Barton or XP2700 Thoroughbred i.e. which will overclock the best.
2. How do I overclock it? Can I change the multiplier or only FSB
3. I take it I need to go for a good quality ram like corsair PC3200 low lat platnium or will I get away with PC2700

i'd get the XP2500+ Barton
assuming they overclock to the same level, the Barton's performance still comes out tops

1) the bartron cause its cheaper only 180$ at Newegg. and it will be faster even with a less OC
2) you can change teh FSB and if you "Unlock" it you can also change teh multiplier
3) go with high quality ram. Corsair, Crucial, Muskin, they all make good ram. i have 2 sticks of Crucial PC2700 and its fine for me.
