Help with overclocking pls..

k first let me u give u my system info, first off i have an asua a7n8x deluxe rev.2 with an athlon xp 2600+ with 1gb memory (2x512) running windows xp, k i was playing around with the settings in the bios one day and i noticed my comp started restarting on its own at times and it would sometimes exit out on games while i was playing them, so i started messing around with the bios and took the cpu external frequency too 105mhz and the multipler was already set at 12.5, so i would save and then save and exit and i kept doing this till i got to 170mhz external frequency then the system started messing up a bit, first it wouldn't reboot it would start up but wouldn't even get to the post screen and juss stay black so i turned off the power and unpluged the system, then i rebooted again and this time i took the bios to default settings and when i did that my bios froze up after i saved, but now i got the system running again but now i want to know if i can get my system to overclock and be able to get it to be stable, all help and advice would be much appreciated. Thx in advance.
