Hello everyone! :)

Got a Abit Siluro GeForce 3 Ti-200 for my video card (Please click on my rig below...tell me what you think!). I've pretty much decided that it would be wise for me NOT to over-clock my CPU, RAM and board for the simple fact that I'm new to the world of "Hardware Fanatics" and that I'm not running anything that will push my CPU or system that hard...yet. But, did settle on "just" a GeF 3 Ti-200 'cause I got it at a REALLY good price, and it's the most basic card with DirectX 8 support AND programmable shaders.

I had read that it IS possible to o/c a Ti-200 to almost Ti-500 performance. I was wondering exactly what someone would do to get it there, or at least, bump up my card's performance. I do have a version of PowerStrip, but have not begun because want advice/guidlines from experienced users first. Understand, this card and my system are worlds better than anything I have ever used or seen...but can't help but feel that my videocard should be as fast as possible, considering how fast (I think) the rest of system is.

Thanks for any help or suggestions! :D

If you are using nVidia reference drivers, try the coolbits reg entry (which unlocks an extra control panel in the driver section). You can then alter core and memory frequencies.

Powerstrip or nVmax can also be used.

The search button on your web browser can also be used to overclock your video card. :)

I have the Gainward GeForce 3 Ti 200 and currently have it overclocked to 240/520 without so much as a hiccup out of it.

Nice to finally have a card the will get me a 8500+ 3Dmark2001 score :)
