Help with Overclocking E6600

Im trying to overclock my e6600 but everytimne i do i end up with problems and errors. at present i can get it overclocked to 3.2 with
vcore 1.43
1.2 1.4
nb 1.4
sb 1.65
cpu vtt 1.34

but when i load up i lose sound and it tells me the windows audio service isnt enabled, and it wont load even if i click yes. i also get driver errors for sound and symantec now refuses to load and i also get unknown devices being listed in my hardware list even though none have been added and all my old ones are recognised

if i disable both pci spread spectrum settings in bios i get no sound at all, if i leave them i get sound for a bit then a high pitched noise then no sound after that. my modem is also affected so im guessing its somethign affecting all the pci slots so maybe voltage but i have no idea tbh

is this because ive cleared the cmos and vista is throwing a fit? how can i stop all these bloody errors popping up?

thx
