Help with overclocking 3000+ venice and AV8 (V-Link causing problems?)

Hey

I know its been posted before and i've been through all those threads but I just wanted to find out about the V-Link bus speed on the Abit AV8.

Are you supposed to lock the clock speed on this?

Im having problems going over 250 fsb and I know it isnt my ram, maybe im completely wrong but I have a feeling its the v-link clock thats causing my system to reboot.

Can anybody shed some light for me in this area?
