Help with Outlook Express 5!

I need some help with Outlook Express 5.0. I'm running Win98SE and the rest of the hardware need not apply. The problem: I can't compose any new e-mail because it says that my address book isn't there (which obviously it has to be in order for OE5 to be installed). I try to run the address book execute and it tells me that it's not a valid address book. Go figure. The solution given by OE5 was for me to re-install OE5 because there was a configuration problem. I do that (by going into Control Panel >>add/remove programs>> windows setup). I remove it from there, but we all know how embedded OE5 is into Win98. When i removed it, i restarted my computer (even though it didn't prompt me to). After it re-booted i installed it again using the same method i used to uninstall it. I still got the same problem, and it didn't fully delete it self. I still had my old e-mail present in the program, like it had always just been sitting there. Anyway, if someone could help me with this problem i would be really greatful.

The IE and OE come with Win98SE is 5.00, try to upgrade them to 5.01 using Windows Update, it might solve the problem for you.

find the .wab file and delete it from your computer and reinstall. wab stands for Windows Adress Book and it won't be replaced on a reinstall.
