I got a new PDA and it came with outlook 2000. Everything seems to work, and it syncs up fine, but for whatever reason item titles don't show up in outlook. If I enter a calendar entry, it does not show up as being visible in the day view, although in the month view the date is bolded indicating there is an event then, and if I try and enter an appointment into the same slot as one I previously entered, it says there is a conflict. It just doesn't show up. Also, on the contacts, for each item, it displays in the list the phone number, etc., but just a blank gray bar for where the name should be. It is syncing up fine, and everything shows up on the PDA just as they should. I tried outlook XP and the same thing is happening. Any ideas or know why this might be happening?

i got a jornada 548....its running pocketpc. it came with outlook 2000 full. i'm running win xp and office xp, but i've never really liked MS stuff for email, so i didn't install outlook xp and use eudora for email instead. But.....the PDA uses outlook as its PIM interface, and it seemed to be ok. I thought maybe it was outlook 2000, so uninstalled that and put on outlook xp, but it did the same thing. the crazy thing is it looks to be working....i can add things, etc., and they sync up fine with the pda, its just like the colors are messed up or something. i didn't seem to see anything where you can change the font color for the interface or anything. i was thinking maybe i had to set things up or something, but i thought i walked through it all normal. does this help at all?

thanks for the link, but i don't think its exactly what i'm looking for. the PDA seems to be working fine. I'd really like to use Outlook as my PC side info manager, its just that it doesn't seem to be working right. I don't get why. MS's knowledge base doesn't seem to have anything either, or I'm not looking up the right keywords or something. Does anyone know Outlook?
