I am trying to install Tiger on a 533Mhz G4 Dually.
I get to "Click the button below to restart your computer and begin the install process"
Hit the Restart button and I get.
"An error occurred" Startup Disk was unable to select the install the install CD as the startup disk.(-2)"
Am I just forgetting a step or do I need to get a Apple branded DVD/ROM that will read the Tiger DVD install disk???
It came with a Apple tagged Sony CDRW that is broken and I installed a NEC DVD/CD ROM drive...Seems I had a problem with this before a couple of years ago on another G4.
I always end up beating my head against a rock when working on Mac's...Any help would be greatly appreciated
