I found that when temprature reaches 40c I start getting these beeps and if I am looking at my temprature program I see that my Volt. drops briefly to 10v( displays 10v in red) instead of its 12.2v average. Now why does this do this. I thought people can OC there CPU at 50c or less normally and have no problems. Do I have to change my voltage setting. AM i not giving the CPU enough juice? Also the computer will reboot once it gets hotter than 40c. So at 40c it beeps and higher it clips out and reboots its self.

SY-K7V Dragon Plus (overclocked to 148FSB)
Athlon XP1600 (OC to xp1800) (Heatsink: Thermalright SK-6 with 80mm Antec fan)
Mushkin PC2100 512mb (2x, 1 gig)
Gainward Geforce2 Ti500 (Overclocked a bit)
Soundblaster Audigy OEM
Antec SX-803 case(great cooling) with Antec PP-303x (300watt) Power Supply

Unlikely, but perhaps you have the BIOS set to reboot at 40c? ("critical temperature" or something like that).

I've got my 1700+ on a 300W PSU and have no problems at 1.97V and 47.5C on the CPU. My 5V line is a bit low, around 4.92V, but I haven't played around to see how low this can go before rebooting.

Well I get two Voltage read outs , one reads 1.76V and one reads 12.2V. Well I don't think I have the 40C set for Critical reboot because in my program reads 56C for its setting for a warning beep to sound. Maybe two different things ?
