IMHO, unlock the chip (since it is really easy) and adjust both the FSB and multiplier. I, personally, would try to get the FSB as high as possible and even lower the multiplier if necessary since most programs will benefit more from a higher FSB.
yes thats a good idea... if it becomes unstable at a higher fsb speed then you can up the voltage bit by bit.. never ever go past 1.85v unless you have a peltier or watercooling or some other serious cooling..
The KT7 will basically only multiplier OC. It's FSB is limited to about 110 max. I fyou want to FSB OC, you will need a KT133A mobo or better. I'm swapping my KT7-Raid for a KR7A-Raid this evening. Can't wait- all my stuff just came from newegg this morning!!
The KT133 chipset rarely go beyond 110 FSB. The max I've seen is 112 FSB. Thus, FSB adjustment is minimal for ur case. 107 FSB seems to be the stable no. to go w/.
U can however increase the multiplier if u unlock the CPU. To unlock...c here. Unlocking the Duron & Athlon (T-birds) is the same.
