Okay, this is what happens. I go into Nvidia display properties
and tell win2k to AUTOMATICALLY startup with one of my preset settings.
BUT, when i reboot, it doesn't execute the preset. It just returns to Factory default gamma/brightness/constrast settings. I mean, for an instant, i can see that my preset settings are in effect because of the increased gamma, but after like 2 seconds, it just returns to the default gamma/brightness/constrast settings.
Furthermore, when I increase the gamma/brightness/contrast in windows 2000, then go start a game, such as Counter-strike or QUAKE 3, windows 2000 forgets my settings and just uses the Factory Default settings again.
When i exit back out to the desktop, all the Gamma/Brightness/Contrast settins are back to the Factory default.
I used 6.31 (Det.3) win2k version and then i switched to 5.32(Det.2) win2k version and it didn't help. Any suggestions?
