Help with Norton Ghost V9

I am running XP Pro SP2

I had 2 120GB WD HDD (No RAID)

The boot drive started to flake out so WD sent a re-furb.

I used Ghost to copy the old HDD to the new one.

The new drive boots to the Win splash screen and just stops loading (mouse still moves).

I have never used Ghost before and don't know where to start diagnosing the problem.

Any help is appreciated.

try going onto the WD site and see if they supply any yoots to do this. As long as you still have the flaky hdd

Does it boot in safe mode? If not, it'll at least tell you which file it's hanging on probably.

I ended up using Acronis TrueImage and everything went smoothly...
