Help with Northwood O/C

Hey guys....My system is starting to get a bit behind the times so I figured I'd overclock it a little. However, I've run into the problem that it just won't load up Windows XP past about 2.4GHZ...My vital specs are as follows:

Epox 4g4a+
Intel Northwood 2.26GHZ
Corsair XMS pc3200 DDR RAM

Anyone run into similar problems before and/or know how to fix it? My temps seem to be fine (or maybe I'm wrong about this? ); they stay around 100-110 degrees Farenheit. This is all on air cooling...

I don't think you are "behind the times" with your system.

You will have to increase the voltage to your CPU until it stable (if it is stable at higher speeds). This in turn can and will raise your temps, so you will have to keep an eye on that.

I play computer chess games vs other computers. The people with the newer CPU's are starting to beat me a lot 🙁
