Help with noisy fan??

Hello, I just installed the GLOBAL WIN FOP 32 on my ABIT slocket with a Celeron 566 behind it and it is just annoyingly loud. Much louder than my combined 4 fans and dual heatsink on my celeron 300a oc'd @ 450mhz. Anybody know how to quiet it down???

I modified a golden orb and found out the fan was rubbing against the side of a plastic piece. Also one time I found out a wire was rattling against my powersource fan, so by using some zip ties I fixed it.

If the sound is just the motor and the wind, then there's probably not much you can do to it.

Your chip barely creates heat anyway and so you might want to consider changing the voltage to 7 volts. I run my VOS 32 at 7 volts and it still gives me adequate cooling with the help of a side case fan.
