I just finished putting together a A64 3200(wohoo) with Asus K8V DLX . Everything works fine except when I boot up, I am not getting a beep . I can go into bios and everything is recognized. What else I can check. I also want to oc this system.

Anyone has any sugestions as I want to do it step by step.

If your speaker wire is connected, you should hear a "beep" when posting, but my old ecs board doesn't, which is normal for some ecs models. For overclocking, I would start at 220 fsb for the cpu, and no change in the cpu vcore. For higher settings, you can up the cpu vcore in .025 volt increments until your system is stable. Be patient, and try each setting for awhile before going higher. If you have an agp/pci lock, it should be in the "frequency/voltage control" section or something similar. Without it, 220-225 is about all you should expect. Nforce3 chipset boards have the agp/pci lock, but not via chipsets. Leave the memory setting at "spd" for stability. I've never seen any real performance boost by manually changing this setting, unless your memory supports lower numbers.
