Help with networking H-PC on Windows CE

I have a hitachi handheld PC which runs windows ce 3.0, and I bought a netgear fa410tx pc card for it. I was hoping to use it on my dsl. When I plug in the nic it all seems well, link lights are on on both the hub and card, but it won't connect. My dsl uses dhcp, which is turned on also, but the HPC says it cannot retrieve an IP address. Does anyone know why it does this? I can't find any special settings or drivers that I need. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike
