I just purchased an AMD XP 1700, but it is only running at 1100 MHZ instead of 1470 MHZ that it is supposed to. Any suggestions? Thanks.

your FSB is at 100 and not at 133 !

check in bios (or maybe motherboard jumper) to switch the FSB to 133.

flexy suggested the first thing that came to mind.

The common ways of changing FSB settings are either through the BIOS or on physical jumpers on the motherboard itself.
