Help with my resume

so my career fair is tomorrow and i need to write up my resume, what should i put down as an objective? CompSci major and i want a job doing programming or something of that sort

That's an obvious start. "Objective: obtain a programming job."

Now, clarify it. Do you want a programming job writing OS kernels? End-user applications? Java applets for websites? Are there particular traits or skills that you have or want to learn from the position?

If you don't know the answer to those questions yet, start thinking about them, because employers almost certainly want to.

is this for a job or internship? Just put as an objective "Obtain a full-time position/internship in the field of Computer Science"

I hear Objectives aren't that important in resumes anymore and aren't required. But I guess with a job fair, it's good for all these recruiters to see what you're after.

I didn't have an objective on my resume when I submitted it to my company.
