Help with my new 24" monitor

So I have an acer h243h and when I go here http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/viewing_angle.php and I scroll down to the purple the sides are lighter than the middle. It is pretty noticable. I am directly infront of this thing. it claims 160 viewing angle, but it seems like I am getting about 30. Should I take it back and exchange it or is this normal? Cause the 23" AOC I also have sitting here does not exhibit this to the same level.

160 viewing angle is sad, you can't expect it to look like a $350 monitor.
Is the lighting difference distracting when looking at a normal screen?

I bought a 24" refurbished Soyo Pearl @ $150 shipped. It's got one stuck red pixel. But the panel has 176° viewing angles.
"Viewing angles" were one of the main criteria I used when shopping for an LCD screen.
