Help with my MSI K7t Pro

I tried to get this up and running last night. Everything seemed fine, I installed all the drives and got windows up and running. When I went to turn the power off I noticed that the cd lights still stayed on with the power off. When I tried to reboot I just get a clicking noise coming off of a black part on the motherboard. The 4 red light indicators on the motherboard are on. I know this one is kinda limited but any suggestions from anyone that might have encountered this before? Thanks.

yes it does, I looked at it. The two things it lists are one, check the battery, which I did and it is fine, and two, defective processor. Is it possible the processor crapped out after 10 minutes when it was just working? Im wondering if maybe there is a short, or if there is a problem with the powersupply.

Yes, cooler is working fine. The computer had been working for at least 1 hour. I installed win98, and all the drivers for the installed cards. Something seems to be defective. Im just wondering if 4 red lights might mean a short to the motherboard. Im thinking that if it were shorted that it wouldnt even turn anything on at all. Thanks for the help, let me know if you have any other suggestions. Could it be a corrupted BIOS chip?
