Hey guys, I'm building a gaming rig, and I need a mobo that will not get outdated "as fast" as some of the ones out there with older technology. This stems from the hatred of the dell I was given and the inability to upgrade little more than the hardrive on it.
I am too poor to run SLI and I don't really see the point as I have a 22" monitor. So far this is my wishlist for my rig. I want to Overclock a little and tweak some but I am a beginner so warranty would be a must.
Case: Antec P182
PSU: Thermaltake 550w
Mobo: ?? Willing to drop 100-200 dollars to make it last a bit DDR3 capable?
Video Card: Pulling from my old rig BFG 7800 GT OC
HD: Fast HD of some sort, only 80-100gb really needed
Chip: Probably going with a E6850, someone could convince me to go quad.
What Mobo ya think?
