help with my dvd problem...

when i watch movies on my DVD player, the movie kinda fades then goes back to normal color real quick. first i thought it was just the movie, but it does it on all... the dvd is hooked into my componate input on my TV... exhanged old cables for NEW monster componet cables... had my DVD player for almost 2 years, its a sony. new TV.. xbox (which goes through the same component cables and same componant inputs) doesnt do it.... so do you think its my DVD player??

i think i know what ur problem is..... are u sure the dvd player is connected directly to the tv by the composite or thru the vcr, because very few dvd players come with composite jacks.

i didnt say i had composite, i said componant...... and i do not have a VCR

I was going to say it's the TV, since my old 20yr old TV does something similar (changes shades by itself)...

But since you said it's a new TV, and XBox doesnt do it... then I guess it pretty much HAS to be your DVD player...

I got the Pioneer DV-343... love it... great picture quality and can play DVDs from any region as well...

You should be able to get one cheap... check it out...
