Help with my Abit

I've got an abit be6-2, I had a power surge and now the board won't run coppermine chips at all. I reflashed the bios thinking that was it and it's still not running coppermines. I used my old cel366 in it and it's fine. I've tried different slockets and even put a new cel566 chip in there to see if that was the problem and nothing. It's the board itself that just won't run coppermines. What else can I try?

did you ever use the slotket before?... make sure the setting on the slotket, if available is set to coppermine's... my old Abit slotket had a jumper to change to switch between ppga and fcpga's...

Yep, I tried the old slocket and it works fine with my cel366. I don't see a setting to change it from coppermine to ppga.
