Help with MSI GT 60

I have a MSI 60 that i am unable to update the drivers , it gets half way through and stops saying unable to install video driver .306.14 is the only drover that works . I have tried the latest driver and some older ones . Using win 8

Any idea would be great !

What was wrong?

I just installed the newest drivers from Nvidia a couple days ago without issue
