HELP: with mp3's

I just downloaded a mp3 from kazaa and I'm hearing all sorts of static. I heard that this was one of the protection methods they have been using. Is there a way to get rid of it?

The files with ridiculously high bandwith are normally RIAA bait.

It could also just be that the guy who ripped it was using an old hex speed creative with gum and spiders inside it

Which isn't that unlikely on Kazaa.

But if it's heavy static, it's 99% a RIAA file. Delete it and don't share it like the other schmucks.
