Hi DDC,

Here's a nice Linky to the pdf document for your mobo. Just scanning over it, it looks like it will run a K6 400mhz proc.

Cheers ;)

From the page you linked it has listed in the box:
Bus Speeds: 60/66/75/83/100 MHz and
Clock Multipliers:2.0x-5.5x,
so the range of this board is 2.0 x 60 = 120 MHz to 5.5 x 100 = 550 MHz. You could potentially get a K6-2 550 MHz cpu for pretty cheap and pop it in there to extend the life of this PC. If you can find a K6-2+ or a K6-3+ you will get more performance but it will cost you more and a 550 MHz will be hard to find. If you can find a + in a 450 MHz flavor, it will probably overclock to 550 MHz pretty easily.
<edit> after looking a little more into it due to the post above mine, I think there might be a problem with supplied voltage. The information page you listed has 2.2 V and 2.7 V as potential voltages but not 2.3 V which is what K6-2 550 MHz wants. You might be better off with the K6-2 500 MHz CPU which wants 2.2 V supplied and then maybe you could overclock it to 550 MHz and see if it is stable. This way at least you start off with a knowledge that your board supplies the right stuff for your CPU at stock speed. </edit>
