If you have not yet bought E6750 2.66GHz $183, then you'd better wait for E8400 3.00GHz $183 (to be released on January 20, 2008). P35 chipset motherboards support Penryn processors. For example see:

AnandTech - Motherboard Compatibility for Wolfdale and Yorkfield Processors

Unless you need the support for CrossFire or a RAID controller card, P35 is as good as and cheaper than X38. For example

I can vouch for the Abit IP35, just fired it up yesterday. They also make the IP35 Pro which is a very popular choice.
