I recently ordered parts for my new pc heres what i got:

ASUS M4A78T-E AMD 790GX Socket AM3 Motherboard

Patriot Gaming 4096MB PC12800 DDR3 1600MHz (2x2GB)

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition AM3 CPU

XFX Radeon HD 4890 Xtreme 1GB PCIe w/Dual Link DVI

Samsung 22X DVDRW SATA w/Lightscribe OEM

HITACHI 1TB SERIAL ATA HD 7200/16MB/SATA-3G

Ultra LSP750 750w Power Supply

Ultra M923 Full Tower ATX Case

ULTRA 500MM SERIAL-ATA CABLE (SATA) - 2PACK

My question is in regards to the motherboard and the ram as I can't seem to find information on it... This motherboard has 4 slots for ram, the first 2 and the last 2 are paired together. All the items are on their way to me except for the ram, its backordered, so what Im hoping to do is get everything put together and go to a local store and pick up some ddr3 ram to use in the second set of paired memory bank. Then when I get my patriot gaming ram I'll just have that much more. Does anyone see a problem with this? Do I have to get the same ram in that board even in the other paired bank? And the other thing is, I read somewhere about this board or memory something about the voltage of the ram, if you have to jack it up a little bit to run one set of ram then the other bank of ram cannot be the same voltage... Im really confused as I haven't built a system in quite awhile...
Please Help,
Thanks,
Josh
