Hi,

I just bought two 256MB sticks of "original Micron" CL2.5 DDR RAM. Crucial RAM isn't available here in Germany and I don't feel comfortable to order it from the UK. I've been told that "original Micron" is virtually the same.
Now I have the sticks in my hand and I would like to know how do I figure out wether it is real Micron RAM or not. There is a button on the sticks showing a logo with an M and some kind of ring around it. It sais "MT16VDDT3264AG-265A1" "PC2100U-25330-B1" on the stick. the 25330 surely stands for the timing. Does Crucial RAM have 25330 as well? Am I supposed to get -2-2-2 timings?
On the RAM Chips it sais "0126 2-2" "MT 46V16M8" "TG -75 A" (each "" stands for a new line).
I will get my motherboard on monday. Are those sticks good or should I return them and get original Crucial?

Its real micron chips, MT=micron technologies, -75 means 7.5ns.
Thats the same chips on crucial ddr.
No idea about the other numbers or how well it will run.

Thanks to you Jenny. Can't believe that you're a gal - my girlfriend is always bored when I talk about computers. You don't have a pic, do you ;-)
