Help with Linksys network card

Hi all,

I am having a problem with a network card. I installed a Linksys wireless router(54GS) on one PC and I initially installed a wireless USB network adaptor. Due to range issues, I took off the USB adaptor and installed the PCI adaptor with speedbooster.

I have it working but I can't get into the Linksys setup on the wireless PC. I can't get the program to launch. The link is low but I have not set up any encryption or even played with the channel on the adaptor since the program won't launch. I did try to uninstall the USB adaptor after I had the PCI card installed but when I tried to load the PCI setup, it said I was missing a file. I had to do a restore backup to a point before the uninstall to get the link back up and running.

I think I messed up since I did not uninstall the USB device before I installed the PCI card. Could this be the problem? Is there a registry clean that might be needed? I know I have had some software in the past that provided a registry clean after an uninstall was done so a re-install would work properly.

Any ideas?
